This is a view of Murmansk from our hotel window--the one that we could fully open--on the 6th floor. We kept wondering if people jumped from hotel windows often here because they couldn't take the cold any longer.Notice that there are trees here even though it is above the tree line. Not many, but there are some. We were teasing our Coordinator and Translator that we were going to bring them some seedlings from trees in our valley at home to see what they can start here.
